A Message From Head Coach Sean Robinson
The 2010 Season is upon us and I am really looking forward to another successful season for West Shore United both on and off the pitch.
The 2009 season proved to be the most successful in team history. The U19 Division 1 side finished with a record of 17 wins and 4 losses, we extended our unbeaten streak in league play to 5 years (35 wins in a row!), won our second straight EPRU Championship, second straight Mid-Atlantic Championship, won our 5th consecutive Harrisburg 7's tournament championship, finished 2nd at the prestigious Cherry Blossom Tournament in Washington DC, and finished 4th at the USA Rugby National Championships; our highest finish ever. The U19 Division 2 side went undefeated in league play and advanced to the semi-finals of the EPRU Division Championship. The U15 team went undefeated in the regular season and the post season to claim the first ever EPRU U15 Championship.
The 2010 season will pose some new challenges for West Shore United, as several top players have moved on to college and men's club rugby. But I have confidence that our young players will rise to the challenge and build on the success of the 2009 season.
